What's included in the student license?

Student licensing is for undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students may obtain a specially priced license to use the full program version of ATLAS.ti in their degree studies.

You get acccess to:

All ATLAS.ti licenses (including student licenses) offer full access to all of the software's tools and features.
The monthly ATLAS.ti Web license includes access only to ATLAS.ti Web.
The Student Semester (6-month) and Annual (1-year) licenses include access to both the Desktop and Web versions of ATLAS.ti.
The semester and Annual student licenses each includes 60 minutes of free auto transcription.
Free support, plus expert training 24/5
Seamless project sharing between platforms
The Web version supports real-time collaboration, while the Desktop apps support asynchronous collaboration.

What leasing models are available?

Student licenses are available for:

ATLAS.ti Web: Monthly subscription
Auto-renews for 24 billing events. Cancels automatically after. You can cancel anytime.
ATLAS.ti Desktop: Six months
Auto-renews for 11 billing events. Cancels automatically after. You can cancel anytime.
ATLAS.ti Desktop: One year
Auto-renews for 4 billing events. Cancels automatically after. You can cancel anytime.

What payment methods do you offer?

We accept major credit cards, Paypal, Google Pay, wire transfers, checks, or money orders. Companies (except resellers), educational institutions, and government institutions can receive their licenses as purchase orders on account.

Please note that when paying by wire transfer, check or money order your product cannot be delivered until payment is received in full.

Purchase orders are only available to corporate customers. We cannot accept your order until we have received written confirmation of your order on your official company letterhead. This will delay the delivery of your product.

Can I get a custom quote?

Sure, simply follow these steps:

Select your desired product from the shop.
In the Shopping Cart, click on “Request Price Quote”.
Complete the form.
The written quote will be available for download as a .pdf document. It will also be sent via email. The written quote is valid for 60 days.

Can licenses be ordered as purchase orders?

Purchase orders are only available to corporate customers such as companies (except resellers), educational institutions, and government institutions.

How does ordering by fax or e-mail work?

Would you like to place your order by fax or email rather than via our shop? No problem.

All orders for ATLAS.ti products and all order-related issues (such as payment, shipment, and refunds) are handled by our sales fulfillment partner, cleverbridge GmbH.

Which version – ATLAS.ti Web or Desktop – fits my projects?

Both ATLAS.ti Web and ATLAS.ti Desktop (Windows/Mac) can be used to analyze qualitative data, and you can choose which one you prefer to use (you can also export your ATLAS.ti Web project and open it in ATLAS.ti Desktop or vice versa). What documents do I need for my student license and where to send them?

To obtain an ATLAS.ti student license at its substantially reduced rate, you must supply us with the following documents within five days of purchase:

A scan of your valid and current student ID, clearly stating your affiliation with an officially accredited institution of higher education
A scan of a second, official ID or passport, containing a photo and matching name(s).

Can I cancel my ATLAS.ti Web monthly subscription at any time?

Yes, you can cancel at any time from your account at my.atlasti.com or by emailing our sales partner Cleverbridge at cs@cleverbridge.com..

Can I share my student license?

No, you cannot share your student license with other users

Who can purchase a student license?

Undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students can purchase a student license through our online shop to access the full version of ATLAS.ti at a substantially reduced rate for use in their academic degree programs.

Student licenses are strictly PERSONAL licenses and cannot be applied/purchased for or obtained by institutions or third parties of any kind. Payment must be made by the license holder.
